Today's Blogging From A to Z Challenge post is brought to you by the letter M! For music.
I knew right away that I was going to use music for this post. I've been trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to write. I think probably the best way is to make some lists of some of my favorite songwriters, singers and songs. So here we go...
The first item on a list is my absolute favorite of the category. After that, they're all kinds of equals and it would be very hard for me to order them. I'll also save you from embedding all the videos, but I am linking to videos of the songs. I suggest checking them out.

Sorry, it got kind of long. I got carried away. Be thankful I didn't embed the videos.

Great post KC. Music is simply magic isn't it? I've always been amazed at how music can boost or even change a person's mood...plus it blows my mind just how gifted some musicians are. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's my opinion that music connects directly to the heart and that the music you're drawn to is a reflection of your heart.
DeleteDelighted to learn someone else's favorites in music -- thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI was doubly delighted to see The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins in your list. Julie Andrews is an inspiration to me, not just because of her music, but even more because of her writing, and because of her person.
I like KC's comment above, "the music you're drawn to is a reflection of your heart." Lovely.
Ooops. sorry, just realized YOU'RE KC. I'm just visiting from the challenge, and didn't note your name. I will now kick myself for a while...
ReplyDeleteBeth - lol it's okay. Julie Andrews is pretty amazing.
