It Sucks But I'm Not Surprised

Well, today's Saturday, that means it's time to weigh in. Honestly, I was expecting this. We'll just get it started with the weigh-in.

Weight: 261.5
Change: +0.7
Pounds to Goal (250): 11.5
BMI: 41.04

So I thought of this following format for recapping my week and want to try it out. The first number is how many times I did that exercise and the second is how many times I should have.

AM Yoga: 3/7 Okay, need to work on making sure that I get this in each morning.

Cardio: 2/3 Yay! I will take it without complaints because of the way it looks compared with the other exercises.

Strength: 1/3 Eh... just like AM Yoga, I need to make sure I get this in when I'm supposed to

Walk Noel: 1/7 I missed a couple days because of the weather (raining or thundering) but the rest of the days was just flat out laziness.

PM Yoga: 0/7 I forget to leave time for this. Need to work on that and find a time when I can do it.

And for calorie counting, I was under one day, over two and the other four I just didn't even keep track.

On the plus side, there's room for improvement this next week. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

P.S. How's this format? Love it, hate it? Ambivalent?

  1. Your honestly with your weight loss is inspiring. Truly. I need to jump on that bandwagon (I seriously just wrote "baconwagon" before I realized what I was doing. Any doubt why I need to get back into routine has been thoroughly knocked down!)

I know it sounds silly...but I've been using the Wii Fit to help get me back into some semblance of a routine. There is something less daunting about it. Maybe because I can do it in private? Probably.

    1. Haha Baconwagon. I use the Wii Fit to weigh but I don't do any exercising on it. I don't really have anything against it, I just prefer other methods.

I totally get the private thing while working out. When I was going to the gym I would have to take off my glasses so that I couldn't see anyone else. If I couldn't see them, they weren't there.

  2. You mean people CAN see me when I take my glasses off??? Crap! That's how I managed to spend so much time at the pool...no glasses. LOL, glad I'm not the only person who thinks like this.

I like the new format. I know how hard it is to get into a routine - I have the things I do, and then the things that I'd like to do (like core work) almost always get forgotten. I keep saying I'm going to make up a check list on Excel, but have I? Noooo.

Here's to a good week for everyone! :)

  3. LOL, I started taking my glasses off partway through my workout, when I'd get sweaty and they'd slide or I'd need to wipe sweat out of my eyes. But then I noticed that it was really easy to block out the people around me when they were blobs without faces.

The routine is definitely the hardest part for me. That's the part I'm struggling with. I know what I should be doing, it's the doing it.
